I normally carry my Canon with me just about everywhere I go. Along side I have my 580EX ii and my pocket wizard just in case I see a shot I’m determined to catch it, like any other photographer who carries his/her DSLR and decides at the last moment that this is the shot they want!

I had my small tripod which basically lingers just about anywhere in the building. Sketched out the shot that I want and continued with the small yet basic setup.

- Canon XTI 400D.
- F4, 1/60 and ISO set to 400 to get some illumination from the slot machines.
- 580EX ii set to manual @ 1/128 off camera from Pocket Wizard (Modified Cactus).

The results came out just as I expected, I aimed the flash (no snoot) to strobe across onto my subject only and to leave everything else in the dark with the lease possible lighting illuminating the rest.

Minor edits done in Adobe Lightroom, just dropped the exposure 1/2 stop and added a little sharpen onto the subject. The rest was all 100%

Thanks for visiting, comments appreciated… see you all on the next post :)
