Free Adobe Lightroom Presets

Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007

I’m not one to pass up free stuff so I thought I’d mention this one. Jack Davis (renowned Photoshop educator, author and Photoshop Hall of Famer) has worked with onOne Software to create one-click photo presets that work specifically with Lightroom. There are over 80 presets that work with the tone, color, as well as many other types of specialized conversions that you can achieve with your photos. As you can imagine, with 80 of them, the possibilities are pretty remarkable. So hat’s off to Jack and the team at onOne Software for jumping into what will be a brand new avenue for creativity with Photoshop Lightroom.

Download the presets here.

Thursday, August 24th, 2006

In the past 10 years in the Graphic Design Field I have had the pleasure in meeting many different types of Designers. Some have continued with success and others have given up and decided that taking orders at Rent-A-Center was their goal in life.

After many years in college they’ve decided that this profession is too hard for them. Too much involved for them! Life is better working 2 jobs and taking crap from people who constantly say “The Customer is always right” is okay for them.
Well my friend(s), if your thinking on quitting after many years of studying in this field and want a regular 9-5 then this article is not for you. [click here to leave]

Adobe InDesign CS2 Tip – New Document with No New Dialog.

You’re working on several documents during the workday that are exactly the same specifications. Being that all new documents take on the specifications of your last new document, is there a way to skip the “New” dialog window when you open a New document.

Yes! You can Command your way right by the window. Simply press Command + Option + N (Control + Alt + N on a PC) and you’re all set.
