Putting Adsense/YPN! to all your pages is a common thing for everyone, where you put it is the main issue. When you surf the web you’ll see many different area’s where websites have their Adsense or YPN! placed at, common area’s are the header and footer. Many other places are on the side panels - If your navigation bar is on your left, then your ads go on the right or vice-versa. Now if your navigation is on your header, usually the ad is placed below and then the footer. (more…)

Layers magazine Tip of the Day
Adobe Illustrator CS2 Tip – Save Complex Selections for Future Use.
You just spent some time making a very complex selection. If you’ll ever need to make this selection again, save some time by saving it. Go to the Selection menu > Save Selection, name the selection and click OK. Your new selection is added at the bottom of the Selection menu. When you need to make this selection again, simply choose it by name in the Selection menu.

This is a few days late but still very cool. Adobe released a public alpha where developers can experience the new Actionscript 3 and get up to speed on the “new way of doing things”. This is the only planned public release from Adobe and is meant to show the new Actionscript. Developers now get many cool features, such as, Regular Expressions, Document Classes, Faster Code Compiling, True OO Programming and the ability to really understand how to get things done in a quick and effective manner. In order to test out the new alpha you must have a licensed copy of Flash 8, which makes sense since they would be giving away the program if they didn’t require this.
The new “packages” in classes is pretty neat and allows you to truly build a complete class based application which is very easy to extend and add features later on down the road. A few noticable changes are the way in which you add movies to the stage and change the alpha “opacity” of an object. The alpha property now takes a decimal number to alter the property, such as 50% now becomes .5 and so on.
Overall I like the direction that Adobe is taking Flash and learning Actionscript 3 serves two purposes. The first being the new Flash and the other being the Flex program just released from Adobe.
Finally in case you missed it here is the download link again.

Are you always looking for a better solution to selling your things online without the auctioning hassel?
Well wait no-more!
Allow me to introduce “RightCart“, a smart and effective way to sell your stuff on your very own site/blog without the bidding hassel.
When I discovered RightCart, I was thinking…awwwe another ecommerce site wih all the charges..grrr. Well, I signed up, looked into the shopping cart and “BLAM” I was ready in less than 2 minutes. With the code already on my site I was ready to sell!
Why litter your site with ads that take up valuable space and pay you very little. RightCart allows you to control what you promote and you get paid when someone buys it.
When you shop with RightCart you’ll never have to leave the page you are on to learn more about a product or even buy it. The entire transaction takes place within RightCart.
Just remember, when your thinking of sellingstuff online, and don’t want the hassel with signing up with merchant shopping carts…just remember RightCart is a great solution.
Otherwise, you can use Google Checkout and sell your unwanted merchandise there.
