ai-logo In working with complex designs that contain lots of objects, it’s important to be able to select similar objects quickly and easily. That’s why Select Similar Objects has been added to the Control panel. If you draw some simple shapes, some of which share the same Stroke attributes, others the same Fill color, and others the same Opacity, you’ll see how it works.

Select any one of the objects and then click on the Select Similar Objects pop-up menu just to the right of the Opacity section in the Control panel. As soon as you select the search attributes from the menu, all objects that share those attributes will be selected. Select another object and click on the Select Similar Objects button and the same selection options will be applied for this different object. That’s quick and easy!

Heres a recent shot I took while experimenting with monochrome on manual mode on my Canon XTI.

I was planning on taking the traditional Teddy Bear in the Bedroom Corner shot…well I did, but with a little more spunk :)

I hope you all like :)

I spotted this awesome picture of John Nack Photoshop Product Manager made by Charis Tsevis out of Adobe Icons. Take a look at the pictures and see the creativity in this render, the detailing is very interesting and the idea itself bring a smile to your face knowing that you can have fun by doing things like this in Adobe Photoshop.

Check out Charis Tsevis Flickr Page also…some interesting stuff there :)

If your just coming into this post I suggest you check out .

  • Collaborating with other artists and making “ART” happen.

I usually look for a project to get the creative flow going. You can find many of these in several well known websites.
I normally start a well known event called “Photoshop Tennis”.
This is when 2 or more artists/designers get together and make creative results with several pictures (provided by stock image sites), everyone involved will be given a round to create an image from another image then handed down to the next person on the next round then again…create something from the image provided rom the round before. This goes on for 10 rounds…giving the participants the creative flow and getting out of the blocked stage.

This is regularly done for fun, but its great when you need that extra boost when searching for that idea.

[More to come later in the week]
