How to create eye catching advertisement and great customer service.

Monday, August 13th, 2007

advertising-thumb Creating an ad that’ll catch the customers attention is sometimes a difficult task. Simply because many of the ads are either annoying or just not legible to understand, so people get ticked off and go on to the next option.

A great solution to this dilemma is to communicate with your advertising design team, your marketing analyst and your customer service team. Now here’s a thing, people say “My Customer Service Team?” , I say yes, they’re part of your marketing and advertising also. If your customer service is not making the people feel happy/comfortable the there is no customer to service the next time around.

Halloween - Directed by Rob Zombie

Thursday, August 9th, 2007

I can’t explain on how excited I am to find out that Rob Zombie has directed his version of one of the greatest horror movies in my time…“HALLOWEEN”.

I remember while growning up in the 80’s, my uncles would try and scare me with the mask and costume during Halloween. Both of them would dress up in the overalls and walk around town with the white face mask just to catch attention…and sometimes frighten the neighbors. LOL…enough of that! I just cant wait to see how far Rob has taken this all time classic horror flick, like he did in the Devil’s Rejects and House of 1000 Corpses.

Adobe Illustrator CS3 Tip – Kuler than Cool Color.

Layers magazine Tip of the Day - By: Jeff Witchel

ai-logo In a previous tip, I discussed “knowhow,” one the panels found under the Window menu > Adobe Labs. The second Adobe Labs panel, found in the same submenu, is called kuler, which is a feed from Adobe’s kuler website. Kuler is an amazing website community that’s a great resource for color exploration, inspiration, and experimentation, as well as sharing of color combinations with other members ? http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/kuler If you’ve used Live Color, you’re already familiar with many of the kuler tools.

Any of the color combinations listed in the kuler panel in Illustrator (highest rated, newest, most popular) can be saved to your Swatches panel as a Color Group simply by clicking the Swatches button at the bottom of the panel. You can also join the website to participate in the kuler community and download your favorite color combinations to load into Illustrator, InDesign and other Creative Suite applications.
