Along with Help-Portrait.com I’ve decided to join Images For A Cure. Joel Meisels from Adorama (@joel adorama) had put up this post on FaceBook that caught my attention on helping out and raise awareness to find a cure for cancer. I for one know about the dreaded disease that has taken many loved ones from my life. So I clicked on the link and started reading about the information.
I got an email today from a so-called “freelance modeling recruiter” from overseas claiming that he looked me up online and wanted to work with me on a photo shoot for FHM Magazine. At the beginning I was sorta flattered, but me being a person that knows how shady things can be ob the internet I did my research and found out it was a scam.

For you Nikon shooters out there that have not yet had the opportunity to experiment with the Creative Lighting System (CLS), you are missing out. While at first it takes some adjustments, it is really quite fun. And while not the solution for every shoot, it certainly has it’s place within the photographer’s toolbox. (more…)
